Booked in for a night so I could attend a work Christmas party, The room was very well presented, clean & had an extremely comfy bed. Staff are great & parking is relatively easy enough to get. Alpha Mosaic Hotel, Fortitude Valley, is tucked away on a leafy lane and offers reasonably sized rooms that are clean, although a little tired around the edges. My room was spacious enough to fit a king-sized bed plus a full sofa in a small sitting area, which made it feel more comfortable than many comparable stays. The bathroom, while small, was adequate and a bit surprisingly compact given the overall room size. The bed was acceptable, though on this trip it felt a little too firm and sagged around the edges, which took away from the comfort. The room itself was fairly no-frills. The “complimentary mini bar” sounds better than it is, as it really just includes two bottles of water, two juices, milk, a couple of muesli bars, some cereal, and standard tea and coffee facilities. One downside was a noticeable musty smell in the room. I couldn’t see any mould, but the musky odour was definitely there and made the space feel less fresh than it should have. There is also a small bar area in the foyer, though no food is available onsite. Location-wise, it is fairly central, but not quite right in the middle of the action. Expect around a 10 to 15 minute walk to local restaurants and dining spots, which is manageable but worth noting. The service yes the staff were helpful and nice on check in and out. Would I stay here again? You haven’t seen me use quality or any outstanding language with this hotel because it isn’t words you use. So at this stage, the jury is still out.

The hotel that I stayed at was ok. There was nothing special about the place but it met all the basic necessities. The staff were nice and the rooms were quite clean. It's nothing more you can really ask for.

I’ve stayed here so much but now this is coming to an end as I’m moving to town. Absolutely best service in town. Wednesday is awesome, always smiling and welcoming. Thanks Mark too. I’ll just enjoy the next 7 days. It’s been a home away from home. Would give six stars if I could.

Great location and alright spot, although it feels very low budget and you can get something a lot nicer without spending much more. Having no in-house food options was a bit annoying on a work trip when I needed to have breakfast before my work day, and all the local eateries they have arrangements with seem to be dinner or lunch only

I loved the service here, the staff were very welcoming and the rooms were clean and well maintained. It was handy having all the restaurants close together making it very easy to get the kids what they wanted. Do recommend!
